What to Avoid
- Generic or unbranded "Android digital signage" panels from online marketplaces — usually lack Google services and updates, inconsistent sideloading, and offer little support.
- Any panel described as "Android" but without the Play Store or without EDLA certification.
- Panels where the admin or manufacturer has locked out installing apps from a file.
- Panels with less than 4 GB RAM — the globe will stutter.
- Windows-only IFPs — they cannot run the Missionary Display app without a separate Android device.
Pre-Purchase Checklist
Before placing an order, confirm each of the following with the reseller. Then send the exact model name to your administrator for final approval.
- Panel is EDLA-certified with Google Mobile Services and the Google Play Store
- Runs Android 11 or newer (Android 13 or 14 preferred)
- Installing apps from a file is allowed — not restricted by the manufacturer
- Has a startup / boot-app or default-home setting
- Has at least 4 GB RAM (8 GB+ preferred) and 32 GB+ storage
- Has both Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity
- Is 4K UHD resolution in your chosen size (55"–86")
